Freshwater pearl manufacturer based in Changzhou, China, with our own farm at Ma Anshan Hexian, Anhui. This is a single loose Edison pearl, 13-14mm, round, in a deep purple. It grades AAAAA on our scale, the top of the range we run from A low-end to AAAAA best.

Edison pearls come from the nucleated mussel side of our farm, and this size is where the color shows best. The purple sits saturated through the nacre, not just on the skin, so it holds after drilling and setting. Luster runs sharp with a mirror reflection on the face, and roundness is clean, which is what separates an AAAAA loose pearl from the AAA lots. Surface is near clean; I would call it one small mark at most under a loupe.
